Students can either be accommodated in student halls of residence or rent rooms or apartments in the city. Accommodation costs vary between 200 and 400 USD per month depending on the location and standard. The approximate living cost in Poland is between 300 and 400 USD per month. Students can have meals in the University canteens at a reduced rate.

Living in a student dormitory can be a very stimulating experience. Polish students and students from all over the world meet and have the opportunity to get to know each other and to become friends. But living in a dormitory is also demanding in other ways. Students living in the same corridor come from many cultures and have different customs and ideas how to do things.

Almost 5000 students live in purpose-built student halls on the University Campus. The accommodation consists of fully furnished bedrooms. The price of a shared room is between 300 PLN and 500 PLN per person per month.

The University cannot guarantee placement in a university hall of residence because the accommodation possibilities are limited. International students should notify the Admission Office in advance of their intention to live in the halls of residence. There are corridors of twin rooms with a communal kitchen, toilet and bathroom on each floor. Senior students can be placed in single rooms arrange in twos, which share a common toilet and bathroom. Most student housing areas also have laundry rooms. Students are required to clean their rooms themselves.

Information about private accommodation for students in the city can be found in local newspapers. Private accommodation needs more careful planning and the price depends on various factors, in particular the distance from the University, the quality of the flat and the facilities made available by the landlord.
