COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN GAMES
Organized as part of the International Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (ICANN’05) to be held in Warsaw, POLAND,
September 11-15, 2005
TOPICS OF INTEREST
The session is devoted to Computational Intelligence methods (neural networks, machine learning, biologically inspired approaches, ...) in development and playing of computer games. Both theoretical and application-based submissions are invited.
Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge representation
Learning and adaptation
Heuristic search
Self-learning systems
Social issues in game playing
Cognitive aspects of human game playing
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
All accepted papers will be included in the ICANN’05 proceedings published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.
Papers, not exceeded 6 pages in length, prepared according to Springer’s LNCS format should be submitted in PDF format directly to session organizer at mandziuk@mini.pw.edu.pl.
IMPORTANT DATES
March 30, 2005 – Deadline for paper submission
April 30, 2005 – Notification of acceptance/rejection
June 15, 2005 – Deadline for camera-ready submission
Prospective authors are requested to send an e-mail to session organizer expressing their interest in submitting the paper and providing the tentative title and short summary of planned submission by February 28, 2005.
