THE RULES FOR WINTER 2006/2007 INDIVIDUAL PROJECT

The subject of the project is a rpg game. Each student is to prepare it's own game consisting of the typical rpg game parts as:

The scope of work covers the preparation of complete game and documentation for it. The number and complexity of quests and the size of the realm can be limited in favor of the completeness, stability and playability of the game. The game must be fully and smoothly animated. Sound is not required. The player must be able to store the game state on disk at any time.

The graphics quality will not be graded, every delay will cost 5% (see deadlines). The assumptions about the game taken in the initial project are to be fulfilled in the final documentation and the code. Any significant change in initial assumption will cost 5%-20% depending on the scale of changes.

Code snippets and prototypes will be not be included in word count.

The game program (final) should be supplied with short description how to install and run it. If installation requires any more effort than coping a single directory with the game the installer program should be supplied as well.

The user documentation must describe to non technical (and slightly dumb ;-) person how to install run and play the game. It should consists of ca. 500 words and screen shots.
